b3 Phoenix III Semi-Hollowbody in Pelham Blue

"I have owned a number of Telecasters over the years and a Firebird. Everything about this guitar is so well balanced. The tone is rich and soulful. Covers hard rock as easily as jazz. Fit and finish is impeccable. My only complaint is I wish I had found these guitars sooner as I would have saved from buying mediocre guitars to fill a niche in my tonal spectrum."

B&G Little Sister - Private Build

“Van was a breeze to work with, and the Little Sister I got is just stunning. I play it against the best of my collection, guitars that may even have had a bigger price tag, and it hangs with anything. My Little Sister from Denver Guitar Exchange is comfortable and responsive, resonant, and seems to know exactly what I want from it. To top it off I got a great deal, and I would definitely buy from Denver Guitar Exchange again in the future.”

"Got the guitar today! Man this thing is fuggin awesome -- can see why B&G is swamped with orders!! Can't thank you enough for keeping me in the loop through the process, patiently fielding questions, and just being cool about everything all around...Oh man this li'l guitar is too much fun -- had a buddy who got a motorcycle that "handles like a moped with a rocket engine" -- that's this thing! Now I see what all the fuss is about..."

"Just received my guitar a few hours ago...just now putting it down to take a break. Good lord what a piece of art! Sounds and plays incredible! I want to say thank you for everything. Dealing with you was a pleasure from start to finish! I appreciate your communication and your professionalism with the transaction itself."

b3 Phoenix V

I came across Denver Guitar Exchange during my last bout of G.A.S. in search of my next favorite guitar. Van was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, completing the purchase and delivery of my B3 Phoenix as promised. I am completely amazed with quality of my Phoenix; the fit, finish and playability exceeded all my expectations. My G.A.S. Itch has been scratched and it may be sometime before it needs to be scratched again. But when I’m ready again, I’ll be back checking in with Van.

B&G Little Sister Private Build

I am definitely a delighted customer. I’ve been playing the Little Sister exclusively for the last few weeks. I’m really impressed with the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Love the pickups and electronics as well.

For me this is a guitar with great tone all over the dials. It sounds really good wide open, but there are plenty of soulful voices up and down the knobs on both pickups. The dark tones are rich and lush and the brighter tones full and fat.

I think the biggest surprise for me is how lively the guitar is. Stable and solid, yet still lively - I haven’t played  that many electric guitars where you can feel the body resonate as much as this Little Sister. It suits my playing style well, which is mostly clean and usually directly into the amp. It sounds great with pedals too, but there’s truly nothing lacking plugging straight in. I’ve played it mostly through my Lazy J 20 and the control and touch-sensitivity are fantastic.

There seems to be a fast-growing list of small-shop craftsmen hand-building guitars these days (I have a few).  The materials, components and flawless build-quality of this Little Sister are all top-notch. Add to that a huge tone palette and it’s hard to beat the value of this B&G.

Thanks again for a great purchase experience. I truly appreciate the attention you paid to this transaction even during the holidays.
